Quick note

I'm not dead... at least, I'm not when I'm writing this. I might be by the time you're reading it, but I'm not planning on it.

Since my last post I haven't been home, and I haven't really had much time to do anything but sleep, and occasionally shower. I have had a couple of meals... enough to keep up my substantial bulk, but most of that eating is done while driving... efficiency or something like that. I finally downloaded email today - 730 of them, and only about 50 were spam!

I can't keep up with "Week in Review" anymore, so we're gonna go with "Session in Review," and I'll post them whenever I get home. We checked over our bills and our projected income, and instead of going home this weekend I'll be going to Phoenix. I'll probably get home at least once before Christmas, so I'll probably post at least twice more this year!

I made a stop in New York the other day and picked up JJ... we'll cover that better in another post... so Lisa is going to come down and meet me in Grand Ledge, MI on Friday to pick up JJ and Kesia. It'll be a little lonely without any kids, but it'll make the truck a lot bigger, especially at night!

If I were going to have to continue to work like this forever, I would quit right now. BUT... it looks like this ridiculousness should be over around January, and I'll be back to making enough money to go home once in a while.

AND - it's still stuck!

Well, it's just the funniest video I've ever seen, That's all. I've seen it well more than a hundred times and it still makes me laugh.

Also, I'm very surprised that this never happened to me. I suppose there's still time.

A much longer version of the incident is available here, with slow motion and everything. WARNING: Profanity (but come on, after that... wouldn't you?!?).

Has anybody noticed...

Has anybody besides me noticed this phenomenon about listening to audiobooks the second time? When I hear certain passages, I suddenly remember exactly where I was and what I was doing the first time I heard it. Am I the only one?
